A fire broke out in the early morning hours of Thursday in the Monserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The fire, which started in a dumpster, spread to a commercial establishment and affected a hotel that had to be evacuated, with 18 people receiving assistance. The incident occurred at the intersection of Salta and Hipólito Yrigoyen streets in the aforementioned neighborhood, where the fire, for reasons under investigation, originated in a dumpster. According to Noticias Argentinas, the flames spread to a work clothing store, while the smoke affected guests at a hotel that had to be evacuated. It was also reported that at least 18 people were assisted at the scene by SAME (Emergency Medical Assistance Service), and the fire was brought under control by firefighters.
